I OF COUSRE HAVE A 5.0 LTR EX COP CAR, WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS DID THE COPS DO ANYTHING TO THESE OR WERE THEY LEFT STANDARD,OR DO THEY CHANGE THEM BACK TO ORIGINAL BEFORE SELLING THEM AT AUCTION.WHAT I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT THE T.B, MAF AND INTAKE ARE STANDARD ITEMS NOW,WORST LUCK

AFAIK they are stock otherthan the computer; i know this is the case with ef/el anyway.
Engines are un touched and i doubt theyd pull bits off it before selling it anyway!

They are generally just stock XR8's including the computer, early ones had the speed limiter removed, this stopped around EF/EL though.

As someone who used to wear a blue uniform and drive these cars I can categorically say they were stock standard Ford bits.

In the old days pre HSV, the Brock Commodores were a little special, and the VL turbos used to get the spring mount for the wastegate bent a little by the local service people, but the reason they generally go so well is due to the nut behind the wheel.

Just like other company cars, it's amazing what a car can do when you don't have to pay for servicing, repairs, tyres and fuel....
