Hey,

I was just wondering if there are any differences (physical, computer etc) between the australia 302 windsor and the 302 windsors used in the states in say mustangs etc?

Particular interested in 1991-1997 oz v8 information.

Also, what other cars in the states run 302 windsors - F150's, expeditions? Need to know as I want to buy some parts from ebay but not sure they will fit!!!

They are all U.S made. The eec 4 versions will run Aust engines..Mustang 5 Windsor litre engines used eec4.. Explorer went eec5 so depends what engine was in..
The fault codes are different etc but work on either..As long as it's maf metered not map from F series etc..

what about physically...I could have sworn i saw a pic of an engine with the tb on the other side of the car ie driver instead of passenger side...

The manifold upper can be reversed so that the TB faces the other way. I think most in the States are built like that.

Yes they are the other way around but they are the same.May have more exhaust crap and extra smog sh!t like air pumps etc.Yes some have the inlet turned to the front also but bassically the same..
Put it this way if you had a blown Aussy mill it could be replaced with a U.S mill with some changes as you said to inlet etc...

oh one last question...if tb was on the other side, was air filter on the same side, or other side opposite the tb if that makes any sense

and did 89-93 mustangs run a MAF? I'm pritty sure 94-95 ones did...

can anyone confirm

88 on run maf.[depends alittle on state]
Cleaner is usually on same side as a/cleaner.
