Hey guys, gotta issue with my motor chewing up dist gears... its a 302 roller block. using the bronze gear.. but still after about 1000km the gears teeth are half way gone... any ideas??

They don't mention in the articles that bronze is soft & doesn't last all that long, plus you have bronze in your oil.....Will a OEM gear for that engine fit the dizzy you're using?

Yes the bronze is softer but 1000km seems a small amount of travel to chew the gear out. Does the engine have a high volume oil pump that is taking alot more to drive it or perhaps the pump is worn or binding. It could be the dizzy binding but it doesnt seem it would be as likely. Maybe there is a mismatch such as the wrong gear for the cam but that seems unlikely too. Just a few thoughts
