Does it matter what position the dizzy is in when I remove it?
Do I need to mark anything?

What ever I have will never be enough !

Re: Dizzy

Depends on what you are doing. If you are changing a cam and are not going to turn the motor over until you put the distributor back in yes, pulling the motor to bits to rebuild it - no

PM me for your Pro-M prices

The 2 drag racers addages
1. If you are in control - you haven't got enough Horse Power...
2. If you throw it up in the air and it comes down - It's too heavy...

My Toys:
1998 NL FBT 033, Blue
1996 NL V8 Fairlane Ghia, YBESLO White, Grey trim, 16" V5 Simmons, LOW

Squeezed is nice, stroked is good, blown is unbeliveable - but all 3 is heaven

Re: Dizzy

No..You are taking everything out that needs to be timmed when put back in..
You are going to degree it when putting cam back in?? I guess??
But its a good idea to have it at tdc on #1 cylinder...
