I have an EB-II Fairmont 92mdl 5.0ltr V8. For the last year and a half I have had the egr Vacume control solenoid broken on my car. For those who are unsure of what I am talking about I will give a breif discription of where it is on the car and post some pics. I have been trying to get this part from Ford and they say they have discontinued it. I have tried to locate it overseas but I never get a reply when I inquire about that part on USA Ford PArts Websites. I was wandering if anybody has a spare one, has an eb V8 for wreck or knows of anybody who has who can get their hands on one, could you please post that info for me? The Part is called an "EGR CONTROLLER" OR "EGR VACUM CONTROL SOLENOID". It is mounted on the drivers side shock tower on EB - ED V8's. They were the only models to have one. The part is small with an electrical connection going into it with two wires and two vacum pipes. One Vacume Pipe goe's into a little canister mounted underneath it and the other goes directly into the EGR Valve. I need this part badly because I have to take the car to the EPA. Because they are very hard to find, the prices I have heard of are extremely expensive. I may have a source for one, I will find out and let you know.

Pity it's so delicate in a very vulnerable place in the engine bay; when ever you are working on that side of the car it's at risk. Broke mine changing plugs but was able to super glue it back again.
