having serious difficulties in finding extractors/headers for eb with gt40p heads.can anyone help.

Hehehe. DO a search and you'll prolly find some answers. think AU type extractors. You'll also prolly need AU style spark plug leads with angled connections.

Genies fit a bit nicer. I just went from Genies to Pacemakers and although they still fit, getting out a couple of the spark plugs is much harder. Remember, you need the extractors designed for E-series V8's not AU ones. The AU ones often sit out too wide and hit the shock tower. You will also find making up a custom spark plug socket will save a lot of problems down the track and remember you will need new 90 degree angled spark plug leads not the stock 135 degree ones.

im all bolted up and ready to go just needed to sort out the extractor situation.i cant believe i even thought about modifying the stock stranglers.eb 5.6 suggests the hm headers as they clear plugs and leads.

got some gt40p heads and ceramic coated extractors off the 2002 te50 5.6 that i'm after offers on if you are interested......

FYI the extractors off the AU's don't fit onto E-series V8's. They sit out too wide and hit the shock towers.

all done! fitted hm headers and a twin 2 1/4 system and she actually goes now!now i need to get the inlet upgraded.has anyone got a spare mustang/gt inlet manifold for sale?

Also found that the AU extractors foul on the engine crossmember upper mounts on E-series.
