Just wondering if anyone has come across this drama before went for a cruise today in my EB XR8 and at idle it started playing up it would rev up to about 1200 rpm and then nearly stall it goes ok but just wouldn't idle properly. I'd hold the throttle a bit to get it to sit on about 1000 rpm and it would be fine until i took my foot off the accelerator and it would start playing up again. It came good after about 15 min but I'm stuffed if i can find anything loose anywhere just wondering if this has happened to anyone else out there?

Clean maf, check that tps voltage is under 1 volt at idle..
Turn isdle screw up see if that fix's it?
If not clean idle speed control ...
Assemble..Then disconnect plug off idle control.....
Adjust idle, check tps...Then re connect idle speed control plug...
Check for leaks between maf and motor...
Including PCV and vent on oil filler..
This can happen if engine is running rich..The ecu tries to adjust by letting more air in...Check connections on maf etc...
The canister solinoid behind left headlight may not be working correctly either?? Tem disconnect hose to inlet, see if it makes any difference ??
Have you checked leads, plugs and cap? Also fuel filter ???
