hey pplz,

just wondering if anyone out there has an ef with the factory optioned 5 litre in it? any pics? (pretty hard to find) i been lookin at the xr range but i love the way stock lookin ef looks, like once its dumped, rims and tinted windows! (cheaper than a xr) plus knowone at the lights would suspect it bein some 'fully' worked falcon well besides the rumble of it

are they the same engines that were put in the ef xr8's? were they tickford enhanced at all? all the stats seem to be the same except a 5kw and 10nm of torque diff so i see the only difference between them would be the xr badges on the outside..

It's an EF Futura so no XR headlights sorry ;( Much rarer than anything Tickford got their hands on tho, only 126 of them...

if ur having trouble with just a falcon you may hav to upgrade to a fairmont, much nicer trim and full electrics and more of them came out v8 than the falcons excluding xr's

4.9 EF Futura

'Tis a powerdyne, or by its more affectionate name the 'poofterdyne', lol. It's only a little thing, internal belt drive so there's no oil lines, which severly limits the RPM the blower is 'allowed' to do. Of course this is just an excuse for the low boost i'm running - about 7-8psi at full tilt.

Not so much of a sleeper with the new number plates (see pic) but yeah.... its good cos it sounds completely stock at crusing revs but put the foot down and the sound goes from mild to wild.
