How many of you guys have installed the airbox venturi frpm the el gt????

Make any difference??? i just ordered on from ford yesterday, only $37 my price.... I figure it's worth a go

whats the differnece between the GT and the stock one, ive got the xu xr8 on my ef adn that works well

Venturi?? You mean the intake snorkel, or the bellmouth that connects to the MAF??

The AU XR8 snorkel won't fit E-series V8's without some modification, it fouls the power steering pump.

how does it foul the power steering pump?? cos ill have to check mine if you right

The AU XR8 snorkel will not fit a E-series V8, as it won't get in there to clear the power steering pump.

Are we talking about the snorkel? The E-series V8 snorkel have a notch in the rear of the snorkel so that the p/s pulley clears it. An EL GT snorkel is a good alternative. Is this "venturi" fitted inside the MAF to TB piping? The price is similar to that of the snorkel.

Is it alloy ??? Does it fit inside air box?? Its a trumpet / ventury...

If it connects to outside air box to front top of radiator then its the snorkel...

my ef is a 6, but im sure ive fitted the au xr8 snorkel to it!

talking about the alloy 'venturi' inside the airbox as quoted by ford...

(i referred to it as a bellmouth, but they said venturi)

no picture, so i just ordered it..... i don't think they'd refer to the snorkel as a venturi.....

When i changed my MAF, i saw that i had a kinda bellmouth thing in my airbox.. Got any pics of the venturi?
