Is there anywhere in Australia that does extrude honing? An Extrude-Honed Cobra or Explorer manifold would be sweet.

not as far as i am aware.
$675 for both upper & lower.
$845 for 8cyl ally heads
$1125 for cast iron 8's.

std stroke, alloy heads, comp cam, tfs manifold, 75mm t/b, 70mm maf, 30lb inj, adj fuel press reg, twEECer

it may be a tease but if you actually read the information in the article you can get a good idea in what direction in which you want to go with you own combo's. the link has a lot of great info, a good read

yes there is actually some places that do extrude honing in australia. Another very similar process is "power porting" and basically it involves pumping/flowing abrasive stuff through the runners that eats/smooths away the inside of the runners. In a nutshell anyway.

It's probably evil to speak of it here, but "v6 vengeance" the StreetCommodores Magazine project car has had a custom 3 trumpet inlet manifold made up for it, the base of which is a standard VN Buick lower inlet manifold that has been extrude honed.
