Anybody using this cam? How does it go in a 347?

I cant answer your question, but I have looked at the specs.

Its a bit of a girly cam.......why not go for something like a comp cams

I agree, the X303 is a bit of a baby, what is that comp cams cam worth?

Girly is a bit harsh. You FF guys are a tough crowd...

I already have some Comp valvetrain parts and I am a fan of their cams. The XE282HR is a fair bit wilder than the X303 (+8* @ 50th), so perhaps the XE274HR is the go? The car is a daily driver and cannot be too wild on the drivability / noise / economy / emissions front.

Agreed, I recently changed from an E303 to an F303.
Abit lumpier in the idle, Alot more go when starting to rev out.
Good drivabillity & economy, so far,,,...

i got a xe270hr early jan and it cost bout $540

236/248 .574/.595 lift with 110 deg lobe sep

I replaced my 282 with a 274 because i wanted a smoother more streetable ride.

Not that there is anything wrong with the 282, its a strong cam, but i'm getting older and less tolerant....
