Any of you lot out there driving EL XR8's (manual or auto, manual preferred) care to enlighten me as to real world fuel consumption? Something like k's per tank in city or on highway would be fantastic.

Between 340-470klms in the city and 570-640klms for highway, per tank.
Obviously the lower figure in both shown a "spirited" driving manner.
Car is an EL2 XR8 auto.

My car was an auto, around town between 360-400, highway 450-470.

When my car was running properly it would get anywhere between 500 - 650 km to a tank highway driving. It is a bit hard to tell around town because I dont live in a city & most of my driving is highway.

Car is a manual EL 1 xr8 with a k&n filter & extractors with a single 2.5" system.

When i first got it was doing low 300's, now it up alot higher after a full service, your looking anywhere between 350 - 500, depending on how heavy your foot is and if it city or highway.

awsome :) thanks for that. just doin a bit of research...EL xr8 manual is what i want, but i wanna know if it'll bust my wallet. 90% of driving would be on the highway...and with a very light foot. This way, my passengers end up paying for most (if not all) of my petrol :D Is there anything else i should really look out for?

EL2 XR8 Auto and it gets 300 to 350 around town bloody terrible, i am fitting a adjustable fuel pressure reg so as to lean it off a little to make more power and hopefully get better fuel economy
