i got the gear drives but the plate in the middle of the timing cover need to be machined off think it is the slack adjuster or somethin its between the two cogs , is the an alternate timing cover and where in syd can i get one

borgie, unfortunetly I have came up against the same problem.. But everyone I have spoken to has said u have to modify your existing timing cover b/c u cant buy covers to fit. Although the machining work wasnt dear anyway


So I ruled that out of my engine build plus most people have said after a week you will be sick of the noise and want to buy a chain one

yeah same here mate i opted for the double row chain aswell as the noise factor might get annoying after a while ,
