After some info for a mate who has a au series 1 . At present it is stock with pacemaker 4 into 1's and a set of yella terra 1.72 roller rockers. It is an auto and he is looking for a lumpy idle and of course a performance gain without screwing up the computer. No changes to the computer if possible.

Easy choice with 1.72 rockers is the Crane 2031. Proven peformance, nice sounding idle and usually no EEC mods needed.

Crane 2031 would do nicely...some guys seem to run this fine with stock computer, others are now running Chiptorque or Unichip.

I would highly recommend upgrading the springs, retainers, and locks to suit.

Search back throught the Windsor Tech forum for 2031 and you'll find a few threads with a heap of good info.

Yep with 2031 on std springs and retainers.The springs are NOT up to the agressive lift / ramps and I'v seen the valve stems stretched and not far from breaking due to valve float etc...
