well i finally got my xr8 onto the dyno yesterday at EAS Performance in airport west (they ill be building my storker motor for me) and i managed 188.9 kilowatts at the rear wheels and 525 nm of torque.
my car is a au3 xr8 5 speed manual with single 3 inch mandrel bnt exhaust, twin hi flow cats, pacemaker extractors, cold air intake and k&n air filter attacehd is the printout

yeh although i never dynoed my car when it was stock but thts the expected gain anyway from the mods i have so its good to see leting these motors breathe better is a good improvement

I noticed the graph says max power at 6400 rpm ? I didnt think the 5l could rev that hard ? WILD6 - have you ever seen more than 6000 on the tach ?

nah the rev limiter cuts in at 6250 rpm what i think happened is the revs r about 1000 rpm higher than what they r coz when he was doing it he said it makes max power at around 5400 rpm where as on the graph it says 6400 rpm
the 13.9 i ran at heathcote backs up the results so im fairly happy
just xcant wait to stroke it now

Things like these should be happening on a more frequent basis :) WILD6 instead of stroking it why not slap on a blower and maybe be the next gary meyers LOL.
