ok i know i can buy the gt40 heads for 1100-1200 buks ive read heaps of posts and seen a few quoting gt40 manifolds are these any good and what are the worth and also how do the gt40 gear compare in performance and dollars to other aftermarket gear like trickflow or others

in mine 93 Cobra svo conversion 160 rwkw... TFS stuff 180 rwkw on different dyno though...Same cam & throttle body on both.. May have got more with different cam [more lift] and bigger throttle body with latter....If not going forced induction or stroker 58cc chambers helps heaps esp off cam....
TFS[or any good aftermarket heads] work well if stroking or turbo ..forced induction...

"Torque" to your engine builder about compression with a stroker generally compression is lower with these heads as they'r made to fit 351's as well..There are different size combustion chambers too..

yea well i wanna find someone caz i need more power badly but i want it done prop so i can thrash it a bit, so wat else would i need if i bought a vpw stroker kit and block Ford 347, 396 or 408W, Short Block Kit 347 Stroker, Steel Crank, H-Beam Rods, 10.1-1 and what kit should i use looking at running nos and making decent power hopeing 250rwkw

imo don't get too carried away with strong/ heavier crank as the weak part of a 302 is the block,get good pistons and rods though. Ever heard of a 302 breaking it's crank? No !! www.wheelspin.net/images/block.jpg
