i recently fitted a crane Hi-6s to my friends ef xr8 after he matched the plugs to the one currently fitted to my 95 mustang. it is a plug and play fittment. comes with ignition module and coil. built in rev limiter.
i had priced them here and cheapest i could find was $550. bought it new from summit racing in the US.. $159US.

just thought it was handy info. beats chopping your wiring loom and paying more money

you noticed an improvement from fitting the new ignition? Or did you replace it cause the old one is shagged?

Is it a worthwhile upgrade?

a big improvement. removed pinging and a tendancy to splutter a little around 4000-5000..
on my mustang it fixed what i am asuming was spark blow out caused by the increased air molecules from the supercharger
