Hi all.

I am getting my harmonic balancer replaced next week. I was going to go for a factory one, but then i thought there must have been aftermarket ones that are better.

Has anyone had experiences with after market ones. How much were they? Where did you get them from?? Can they increase HP?

Don't think you would get any more power, but maybe better quality and probably cheaper than genuine. I have a powerbond street/race and it is a good unit. Powerbond does a standard street balancer for $189 and the street race for $240 (at www.vpw.com.au). The standard street one should be fine for most stock/mild engines.
