heads and intake

Okay guys i'm thinking upgrade again. I'm looking at some protoplines and prolly a TFS manifold. Any comments/suggestions!

Also as part of this i'd be looking to place my lighty ported gt40p's with 1.7 yellow terra r/r's and explorer manifold into a good home. Any interested parties out there who might give me an idea of What they would give for them. The 1.7 r/r have done very little km's (2500 odd).

They are not for sale as yet but as is my custom maybe very soon if i can get it past the minister.

Thanks for any comments guys.

Oh and i'm placing part blame on Sylox and out conversations for the need for more power...again! Hehehe.

Re: heads and intake

Lol thats it blame me. Your be able to start a club soon, Grunter has already blamed me for his urge for more power again.

I'm just hoping my plan comes through at the moment would be sweet to get them both done and go for a run against each other at willowbank. I can see many a beer being had over this whole heads/intake/cam process...

Madnc_8: sweet let me know. The interest level is whats going to drive the idea through to reality.

Sylox: Many a beer indeed. I look forward to it. That intake article was interesting. haven't gone through it fully yet but i will. Its a pitty it's more focused on blown application.

Re: heads and intake

Yeah they did do an article on a N/a setup but i dont have that mag uhhh Bugger

From what i have gauged the GT40p's are worth about $1200-$1400 depending on age, kms etc

Yours may well be worth a little more tom having had some work on them

Re: heads and intake

Eagle were selling GT40P's for $1200-$1300. I sold mine to Dan for $1100 complete - rollers and porting I would look for $1500. Thats what I would pay for them roughly. For just over 2k you can get TrickFlow Streets.

Re: heads and intake

Yeah the $1500 mark sounds about there. They'll come with or without the explorer manifold. I'm guessing $5-600 odd for the explorer!?
Madnc_8: just let us know when your ready. I'll let you know where i am. I will prolly do before xmas.
