Before I put the sump on, can anyone tell me what the hole shown in the attached pics is for?

It now has a rubber plug in it courtesy of a Toyota bonnet stop.

Oil stick from F150 or any body that requires rear sump...
They scew into this hole with flex hose to top of engine bay...
