i just bought a set of gt40p heads and headers, and plan on getting a victor intake to mate to my edelbrock 650 carb. The heads are going to get port and polished, and i will prob mill a little of the deck height to increase compresion. now the only thing left to complete a basic top end upgrade is my cam. my engine is a 1985 302 sitting in my mustang gt. so can anybody recomend me a good cam to install into this engine, my plans for this car is a daily driver with street performance, and ocasional track runs.

i was thinking about going with the x303, any opinions?

x303 seems a little big for your combo and will have clearance problems with stock pistons. also will have poor idle quality. Much more suited is either an e303, Tfs stage 1, crane 2030 or 2031 with 1.7 roller rockers. you will find plenty of horsepower with these combos and wont lose driveability
