Saw an article about some motor packages herrod supplies.
In particular the 250rwk, with like exhaust, cam, chip, etc. for AU.
Was wondering if any1 around has been 2 herrod's and got 1 of these
packages. Wanted 2 know, like driveablitly, price and whether all round
happy with everything!

There was, I think, Street Machine - Ford Edition last month which had an article about herrod and mentioned a couple of packages and roughly what they did and the power output. I didn't know about them b4 this, so I wanted 2 know if any1 had been there and done that yet?

I have seen the package's you are talking about, but they are 250kw's at the flywheel, not at the rear's,they include exhaust,Unichip,HMS cam,high flow air filter and as for price well I have a pamphlet from Herrod's it's a couple of year's old though and the price for this package then was around $6000, $6500,but your best bet is to talk to the guy's themself,I have all of the above execpt for the HMS cam and I'd say with the cam it wouldnt effect the driveabilty any different from normal, just a much more exiciting and enjoyable car to drive.

That isnt good value if it is $6-6.5K for 250KW@ the flywheel, you would expect that price for at the wheels.
Supercharger or turbo kits would be much better value.

Well in all honesty the Exhaust is a full S/S system which is around $2000,Uinchip around $1000-$1300,air filter $130 and then the cam which I'm not sure on price and not sure which cam they use and then you have to add labour and to tune the Unichip to the mod's, the price you pay for power I suspose.

Since u mentioned it was 250kw flywheel figure i had 2 go and double check.
It is 250kw at the wheels, 4 $6k. It is like the August Issue of Street Machine-Ford Edition.

It's a printing mistake, should read 250 kW at the flywheel. 250 kW at the rear wheels would cost a lot more than that !!! Damage 181, without using a blower, can you break down the prices that would achieve 250 kW @ flywheel including labour, dyno time and a profit for a business ?
