Hey guys

I just installed an AU 65mm throttle body and EGR Spacer, and I can't get it to idle properly. I had to use my existing TPS, and after doing a few things, I got the output on idle to 0.95v. Is this too high still? I haven't checked for vacuum leaks yet, but I have a feeling its not that.

Also, at WOT, the TPS is reading 4.68v, is this normal, or should it be higher?

0.95v is fine, what is it idling like? The best way to set idle is to reset the EEC memory (not always needed though), then disconnect the IAC and set the idle using the idle screw to about 700rpm (make sure the TPS value is still okay because adjusting the idle screw also affects TPS voltage), stop engine and plug the IAC back in. Then start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes or until the idle has stabalised.

ah yeah, I should have included what it's idling at. normally about 1000rpm, although it has shot up to around 1300 a few times on a hot startup. I did an ECU reset before, and the idle was down to 700, which was fine, then went back up after a 2 min drive.

I didn't unplug the IAC when I did the reset. I did unplug it off earlier, when the TPS was reading about 1.13v at idle, and the idle dropped down.

Is the idle screw the one on the bottom of the TB, with a spring between the screw head and the throttle body?

OK, I unplugged the ISC, and it dropped the idle down to 700-ish.

So it is set okay. Did you get a new IAC with the TB or just reuse your old one. I guess that could be sticking open a bit causing the high idle, might be worth a clean out. Otherwise maybe just leave it and see if it settles down.

EDIT. BTW does it just do this after startup. Does it settle down at all after a couple of minutes?
