Hi I am running a 347 stroker and wish to change it to a boss motor what mods do I have to do to my motor to get the most power out of it with my stroker I am making 430hp what will I make in hp if I turn it into a boss motor .

G'day,
I think you are asking about how to fit Cleveland heads onto a Windsor block, (commonly called a Clevor motor by the Yanks). I have not done this, but have read about it - someone else will be able to help you better. What I have read is that you have to block a couple of coolant holes in the Cleveland heads, with screw in plugs or press in welch plugs, and drill a couple of new holes in a different location. You apparantly also require a Boss (or Clevor) style inlet manifold.

Is that 430 FW or RW horsepower?

You dont want to go much over 500rwhp on a 302 block as it will probably split in half.

What heads are you running now? Must be heavily ported stockers or some sort of aftermarket I am assuming. I am not sure that going to a clevor would be worthwhile if you really are making that much hp already.

slight clarification Clevor is 351C heads on a 351W block. He wants to make a stroker Boss 302, C heads on the 302W block.
