Well last night my poor truck coolant hit H and beyond got a tow
started her this morning got one half turn on the crank
heard metal and then she just seized up.

I'm trying to stay with about the same engine family
because I have a new 4R70W so my question is what your
opinions are maybe about the place or even this engine

all tho every time I look at the picture I don't see where my serpentine belt
would fit because I still need to keep my power steering smog pump
I don't need the A/C.
Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree with this engine?

Pull the heads you probably just poped 1 or both head gaskets, filled the cyls with water overnight and she hydrauliced (spelling)

Will do this weekend but I did get to pull the driver side
valve cover off and for some reasion all the valve rockers
are in a line so if I where to take a strait edge over them
it would hit them all as if all the valves are closed

opinions? least until Saturday

r u sure all are like that, some will bleed back a fair way due to oil pressure for the lifters (not running), turn it over with the plugs out and see what happens :)
