Hi guys, I'm totally new to the ford world, but in a lucky chain of events I've been given a 1980's thunderbird with a 5.0 AOD and a screwed up body, a 1964 ford falcon with an I6 and a perfect body, and a 9" with 3.73 gears. I'm normally into mopars, but as you can tell this is a hard deal to walk away from. I have no idea how to put this engine into this car. I know I need the special AOD crossmember, but otherwise I'm clueless. Any ideas or links to someone who has done this? Can it be as easy as unbolting the 5.0, taking out the I6, putting the 5.0 in with its motor mounts? If so I've gotta few old mopars for sale

u will need to find some motor mounts and crossmember and if u keep it injected fab up fuel line because of the return system,get ur drive shaft shortened i buy used parts from a guy in fla named freddy he owns mustang masters he can get u the engine mounts and any other parts needed web site is www.mustangmasters.com his phone 9047243927
