Injector change drama..

Need some advice, have just installed 24lb injectors and a 76mm C & L MAF to my ef xr8, car runs fine except full throttle (it dies and backfires!) I think I'm leaning out, do I need to fit an adjustable fuel pressure reg?? Anyone had a similar issue??

EF XR8: GT40P's, Explorer Inlet, Crane 2031, 1.72 roller rockers, pacemaker headers.
