Hey Im looking at purchasing an EFI intake manifold for a 347 stroker im building. Had a look at a lot of US sites and all there motors throttlebodies sit on the opposite side to the aussie cars (theres is on the left hand side). Has anybody that has fitted one had to do any modifications or do the manufactureres make an 'opposite version'? If anyone had any pics of theyre setup that'd help

All the 5.0 intakes are interchangeable, ie can be mounted left or right.

I personally reckon they all suck besides looking ugly so I made my own.

I don't think the Holley intakes are reversible.

Got to say your setup looks mighty fine, maybe you could post some pics of the new and old when your done.

The Trickflo may be worth looking at! unfortunitely I wouldnt know but have heard good word on it?

Lookin' good Marshall. Any chance you could post some specs - ie: materials used, runner lengths, whether you used MAF and TB sensors and where you put them? I'd like to do something similar, along the lines of the TPI chev (urgh - I feel so dirty) inlet, but have no real idea where to start. What I really want is a centralised (rear) TB so I can run either twin pods or suck air straight from a bonnet scoop.
Any help would be great, thanks.

I think you are right on that one as Holley use the older truck style lower intake with rectangular ports and they're ported in such a way the upper won't line up if reversed. But to use this one you need both upper and lower but they are all crap, LOL.

I run a Victor efi on my stroker. Works great! Clears the bonnet on my AU (just).
