just installed 75mm maf

I put on a 75mm maf last night, and i'm very surprised at the results....

my ef xr8 used to idle really rough, and surge sometimes with the standard air flow meter, i thought it may have been a vacuum leak or something..

i used my stock electronics in it, and immediately after installation it accelerates under load heaps better, and doesnt feel so doughy anymore

could the previous owner have done mods and possibly changed back to standard airflow and t/b before sale that has made it unhappy to run on the standard airflow meter?

i thought it may have a cam or bigger injectors done intially.

Anyone interested in the electronics from an ftruck air meter? may be usefull to someone doing a 351 conversion that has been discussed a lot????

Re: just installed 75mm maf

I wouldn't worry about it. It's fixed now, so it's best not to chase things likt this, you will end up going crazy.........
