Just wondering when i get my cam installed should i get new roller lifters?Car is an elxr8

Not realy as they roll over cam and don't actually wear on it..
But its a good time to check them or replace.. They seem to last heaps though...Look at the bearing roller for wear or any play..

Check each lifter to ensure it rolls freely across your hand. If it doesn't consider replacing it. Otherwise they should be OK.

Also a good idea to take them apart and clean them out with carby cleaner or similar. Over time they fill up with crap from the oil and get clogged up. Took me about an hour to dissmantle and clean mine out and they were like new.
