Worth probably $150-$200 second hand but hard to find these days. They do allow quite a bit more flow compared with the stock E-series maf's. The AU one has a different connector on it, but all you have to do is remove the electronics from your stock one and put it on the AU MAF. I have done this and had no problems, but some others have found that they tend to lean out at high rpm, so it is wise to get it dynoed after to check AF ratios. If it is leaning out, you just have to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and bump up the pressure a little.
What size are the the E-Series MAF's i want a bigger one for my Zetec engine, the original zetec one is about 35mm which is way to small. What would an E-Series one be worth?
think the stock ones are 55mm from memory, I think I have one lying around somewhere (without electronics though), but I don't know how you will go tuning the thing eith the larger MAF.
Yep I did this, bought an AU2 MAF and got the innards of mine switched into it. I did change the injectors and ECU at the same time, and avoided having to play with fuel regulators and pressures etc. The EL GT ecu plugged in and ran like a dream straight away - real smooth and fantastic response.

Not everyone is lucky enough to find a second hand elgt ecu
From memory, Mr Sparkle got a good deal with his 2nd hand stuff. Very hard to find these parts in good nick. I got my Upper/Lower Explorer intake with 24lb injectors, 70mm T/B and a mustang cobra 72mm MAF for $1000. The intake, t/b & injectors came off an AU2 XR8 which had done 4500km. Brand new just about.
