Get the model number from CAPA and a quote and give me a email or PM - I am the Australian dealer for Pro-M racing who make their own and Granatelli's mass air flow meters. I am extremely sure I can under cut Tony's price.
Most people use aftermarket MAF's when they change injector size - the electronics are recalibrated to suit the larger injectors with out having to do anything else. The larger MAF's will have a little effect on a standard motor but will really bring them to life when different injectors and cams are used. The Pro-M uses a far superior air sample tube, and because each unit is individually calibrated (comes with certificate) they should run far more efficiently than the HO 58mm meter and the 70mm AU version. I have had one on my ED for a while now and find it very good. They are expensive but seem not to have any idle problems like the C&L/Vortech MAF's do. Power improvements will really come down to other mods. A stock engine will probably pick up 5-10kw mainly due to the fact that they make the engine run about 5-10% leaner, but the more mods you have the more power it will unlock.
