which manifold

Should I use a rpm airgap or weiand xcelorator?

What ever I have will never be enough !

Depends on what you want. A single plane (xcelerator) will give better flow and a broader power band but less drivability. The air gap will give more torque and better drivability as well as a cooler inlet charge hence better VE. Really I would go for the air gap, the excellerator is a good manifold but is getting a little dated now.

Air gap for outright performance and I reckon X-Cellerator for power and better economy. I find all Ford engines need a torker for show and go. The Performers seem to give u like 1 litre to 100km off but much less power and xcelleration.

im using an edelbrock performer RPM manifold..they are supposedly the ducks guts.
not *that* expensive either

used em, tested em, love em.

I was told today buy my machine shop about an aussie made single plane air gap manifold that's proven really well on strokers. Don't know what brand it is but can find out if you want. I'm probably gonna get it when money allows.

For 351 block is true, but for 302 block thay have the same diameter runners and almost same runner length, I use 302 RPM air gap rip off w porting, works well, torker 2 is really bad my .02c

Looks like an Edelbrock but could be one of those new Power Plus manifolds !!! Mate I was told the old style 289 Torker was the best to get !!!
