Where can you buy manifold spacers for the explorer manifolds and what rockers are better Yella terra or crane. I have a EL XR8 185 kw series 2 and want to put manifold spacer and roller rockers on it to give abit more power.Can't believe these have a 65mm tb but still have the busted arse small air flow meter

not sure if there is enough bonnet clearance to fit a spacer in, as far as mods go an auII maf and swap the plugs over, yella terra rollers 1.7's, and a 3" exhaust has produced 218rwhp, not bad for minor mods

IMO Yella Terra rockers are better quality than the Crane ones. Some people say that the crane's can become noisey, but they may have just been set up wrong.

They 1/2" spacers fit no problems, the 1" spacer won't.

if they are noisey it depends whether they have been shimed or adjusted correctly

Also i think with roller rockers, you need to change rocker covers as they require more room (need taller covers)

stud mounted ones yes but with bolt ons the pressed steel rocker covers are good

No need to change the rocker covers... 3/8" gaskets do the trick.

As 9psiEB stated you will need taller rocker covers!! Dont opt for the cheapy option of 2 rocker gaskets.. thats just dodgey
