roll Max bore dia.

My brother had a 351w built by a guy in Indiana Block # C90E 6015 B-6. iT'S A 1970 BLOCK. It's been bored .080 thousands. Is this ok to run or should he look for another block.

I've run one 40 over, but that was max recomended. You're twice that!

I would find another block , a sonic test would scare you I expect with core shift and lack of metal

for low performance street driving the .080 would work, but for performance, try to stick with .030 or .040.

but don't people bore these out to like 4.232 and put in a stroker crank to get these engines up to a 427 displacement?

if this one is only 0.080 that not even close to 0.232 over..

or i could be terribly wrong?

Not quite, a Dart or World block will net you 4.2 max, with a stock block your in the water....
.030 is the max for most factory blocks with serious performance in mind

ahhh.. thank you blue66coupe

i've been looking into it and the 0.030 over is commonly used in a stroker kit to get to the 393 cu. Anything bigger and, your right, your running a little thin.
