Noise Bloody Noise

i got a grinding noise comin from the engine or trans somewhere, the starter came loose last wek i tightened it up, , but got a noise again , the starter is tight so its not that , what could be makin this noise , could some damage have been done to ring gear in starter and is touching flywheel , its only when car is in motion , sittin still is fine but when the car is rocking it differend , dont think its from trans

could be many things, check engine mounts, trans mounts, uni joints, ect....... need to get more specific in where exactly the noise is coming from and what type of noise it is

Two SC 61's = trouble

You may have tightened or pushed the blockplate back onto flywheel / flexplate ??? Especially if it's dented some what?? Or starter motor is still engaged???

yeah not mounts checked that , its coming from the front somethere , and its been a week since tightened starter up and noise came today just as pulled out of driveway , maybe spring in starter or something might have got damaged when starter was loose ,cause it was hitting flywheel when it was loose

its been a week since tightened starter up and noise came today just as pulled out of driveway , maybe spring in starter or something might have got damaged when starter was loose ,cause it was hitting flywheel when it was loose cant for life of me think of anything else ,

If it's from front check harmonic ballancer...
What model ?? Could be mech fan ???

351 windsor , no not mechanical fan , or balancer thought might be alternator so pulled fan belt off and it still does it

Full of oil ???? Oh It's not a Gen lll ...But it may have 570.000 kmrs on it !!!

yeah she got oil , can sit in drive way and rev it no noise , its only when in motion or got some movement im stumped , i dont thing its from trans

not uni joints or brakes? or i could possibly be the bands slipping in the trans, but this is all plucking stuff out of thin air
