Check your battery first? If there is a dead cell it can over charge...
Get it checked it may have a warn or dry bearing, check brush's too...
Some of the latter model AU's 6's had issues with beaing / armiture where brush's contact being out of parallel and wear quick, giving uneven charging etc...
Fitting new brush's is temp fix...
