What do you use and what differences do you notice if any?

Nah, just use good quality oil and change it every 5,000 k's.

Agreed. They're snake oils.....

A good quality filter is also a must. (In other words....NOT Fram!)

agree with Topghia and'92bronco, dont bother wasting your time.

If your oil is changed regularly (IE every 5000k), you shouldnt have problem!

I use a "lift free" additive in my mustang. It has 1 noisey lifter, and the additive seems to quieten it down. I'd get it replaced, but I'm waiting for the motor to expire before doing anything to it.

I use 1L of lucas oil stabliser every oil change. In my experience, its stopped engines smoking, and stopped lifters making a racket.
