I am in the middle of putting my 70mm T/B and on opening up the manifold I discovered oil splattered at the back of the upper manifold. The car has 38,000kms, what the hell!!!!!

That is normal.It is picked either through pcv etc..A longer tube can be made to extend pvc valve higher to prevent oil from being scavenged....Oil can promote pre-ignition...

Thomas, with a signature like yours, I'd put my thinking cap on and get one. And while your at it, try to remember what part of the world your from and have the guts to post it up in location, so the rest of us have an idea where your from. Butt out buddy!
