Oil pressure switch - size/thread/general info
Hey guys
Ive got an aftermarket oil pressure gauge for the beast, as the ol' pov pack only came with the warning light (which is great coz by the time that comes on i'm stuffed, lol). Its a mechanical gauge and as such i need to fit a replacement sender.
Now i've got the socket to get the bastard off. Im just wondering what light you guys can shed on the thread used by the original switch. The sender that came with the gauge is (i think) a 1/8" NPT size and looks way too small for the sender. Can anyone tell me the specifics on the thread (i.e. size of sender, type of thread etc.) ?
