hi mate. 180 degF is 82 degC and 190 degF is 88degC. thats absolutly perfect! what temp t/stat are you running at the moment? cheers, Craig

Thermostat is a hi flo 82 deg

hi. sorry mate. been a while. well 180 f is about 82degC and 190 f is about 88degC so that sounds pretty good to me. as long as it will hold those temps on a hot day, you have nothing to worry about. cheers

hell im gettin confused, i,ll blame my computer!!!! it seems to be losing pages! as long as it holds that temp on a hot day you have nothing to worry about. cheers

That is not hot, very normal temp for an engine. 5.0liter engines as well as most modern cars run 195 thermostats and run about 210. I would not worry about it.
