Pcv, Egr?

How does the PCV system work in the V8? Im not using the EGR system so does this mean that the PCV wont work correctly or are they independent of each other? Also is there any problem with not purging the purge cylinder as it to has been disconnected? Thanx for the help.

Re: Pcv, Egr?

PCV and EGR systems are seperate, so it will still work fine.

Re: Pcv, Egr?

why get rid of the egr, you dont gain any performance by deleting it from the system

The car used to be a six and the V8 now is run by a Autronic and MSD cause didnt wanna try and muck around with the stock electronics.
