Performance Parts

I'm looking for some parts but am finding it hard to find the places that sell them, I also noticed that the prices over here are 3 times as dearer than they are in the states. If anyone can tell me where I can get some of these parts and maybe some prices I should be looking at.
GT40 alloy heads
GT40 manifold upper and lower
24/lb injectors
70mm air flow meter
e303 camshaft

These are some of the mods that I will be doing on my 5.0L do you think this will be a good comination or is there anything else somebody can recomend

thanks Cogo

I would be checking Ford dealers for the heads. They seem to have specials on them at the moment.
IMO, the best performance modification (other than forced induction) will be to stroke it. It is expensive but will get you the best shove in the back. Having said that, stroking in conjunction with the mods listed above will get you a fair rocket!!

I take it an e303 is a SVO camshaft???

I am not a fan of the SVO camshafts..but mainly from a cleveland point of view. There are plenty of people who love them so I am probably a lone dissenting voice !!!!

Do you have the specs of the cam ... the sheet that came with it??(assuming you have already got it) stuff like lift, duration, duration@50thou lobe separation etc??

Edelbrock Performer alloy heads and intake ( about $3000 ) will give a heap more power than the GT40 stuff for a similar price. Ports, valves and runners flow a heap more and with a new cam and bigger throttle body will increase power markedly.

Might be worth asking Aussie Pete where he sourced his Hi-Po parts for his old XR8.

Just a thought.

All above sound pretty good. With the camshaft tho, you might wanna look at the Crane cam 2031. it seems to be the best pick of the bunch

Cogo,

What box are you going to run? I've heard that cam profile is influenced by the type of box you run.
