well after the underdrive pullies I'm out of cash... so I've been busy doing stuff that requires none.

after seeing dan's (fordfan351) engine bay, I had to polish the HO manifold! I didnt put as much time into it as some people, but i intend on replacing it soon anyway.

started with sandpaper wheel on an electric drill to get rid of the rough cast surface, then moved to gradually finer sandpaper. finished it off with autosol metal polish and a buffer.



you dont get the full effect in the photo unfortunatly, but it does look very nice in real life.

well it takes a fair bit of time, but if you guys are serious I can polish up my spare one then you can give me yours. dunno how much a polishing place would charge, but I'll do it for $100 or perhaps for any 5.0 parts you guys have.

I have a polished HO upper which has been ported for a 65mm TB which has been sitting around for some time (sikedxr8 would realise its been a while, lol). All i need now is the 65mm TB!!!
