i have a mild 302 w stage 2 cam and port job on std heads bigger inlet valves edelb twin plane manifold 600 4brl spreadbore extractors manual box . i want more power
what is a good compression to go to 10.5 or 11.5 for street use and cruising dont want to overbore or stroke with rods ?

stick to the more streetable 10.5:1. You wont have to worry about fuel octane that much, unless you can get your hands on a steady supply of avgas, then I'd go 11.5:1
