Ok this is not my car but one that I have tuned and is also the EEC-Tuner/Tweecer guinea pig. We have yet to return to the dyno for electronic tuning but will repost when we have.

EL 1 XR8 (originally auto)
Trick flow Track heat heads and intake, smallest Trickflow cam, underdrive pulleys, MSD 6AL, genie headers, 3" single exhaust. Ford racing 70mm plastic MAF and 30's. Tremec TKO, 3.45 diff.
198rwkw on dyno dynamics dyno. Running too lean.

I have some other non EF to AU figures to quote if interested?

Pete.

Pete that's a nice setup.. were the 30 pounders really necessary on a 302? I remember AP's 347 was still using 24's. Or perhaps i'm wrong :)

Should't title read "Post your dyno results EF-AU 5Ltr V8" as the BA's have a 5.4?

AU2 Forte V8 Auto. Dynoed in August 2002 with Pod Filter and 2.5" cat back system. 132rwkw. With 30% loss for the auto, that's equivalent to 188Kw at the engine.

Now has pacemakers, highflow cats, 3" exhaust, 70mm TB and K&N Panel Filter with Tickford/XR8 air intake. Expecting around 150-160 rwkw (215 - 230 at the engine). Will be dynoed in next 4 to 5 weeks.

well this is off the topic kinda, but i recently discovered in a burst of spirited driving that my car is quicker than my mates LJ GTR torana with a worked 202.. mind you it may be running a bit off, but i always thought he was quicker(sitting inside that torry you'd think that too).. sweeet!

(sorry, but i just had to tell the world)

does anyone know a good dyno in PERTH to run my car on?

JCV8 with those stock heads the figures you're hoping for just aren't possible at all really.

No they weren't necessary power wise but they match the Ford Racing 70mm plastic MAF which flows 990cfm @ 28" water.
He is after more so I think the 30's will get used in the end.

The other car/s are:
ED Sprint with similar stuff but stock(Cobra) intake which gives more torque than the TFS one. The cam is the same I think but he has 2 1/2" twin. This guy is actually going slower because of his use of a 75mm t-body over the stock 65mm and you can see it on the dyno sheet with a reduction in low end torque.
Peak is 190rwkw on the same dyno.

'72 Capri with Edelbrock 1.90 valve heads,std HO intake,65mm t-body, custom 1 5/8" Tri-Y headers, 2 1/4" twin (no cats), X3Z Cobra EECIV, 70mm Cobra MAF, EEC-Tuner, 24's. Ford Racing Z-type T5 and 3.25 9".
205rwkw. We expect 225ish kw after change to Cobra intake and maybe a smidge more with some recalibration.

Pete.

What sort of increase should I be expecting then? And, please, don't tell me "none"!

I know it's a hell of a lot quicker now than it was a few months ago, so I'm expecting a decent increase - it's certainly higher on the "seat of the pants" meter!
