has anybody heard of or used 'pro products spyder efi manifold and power elbow(wtf).i have found them on the net and wonder if this design works or is an efi retrofit for older windsors.it is a funky looking thing.
Yeah sort of a retro thing IMO. Basicaly a carby manifold with a adaptor, the power pipe, which allows you to run a throttle body on it. You would probably find that it was good up high but lost a lot of low down power due to the very short runners and. Probably suit a 347 stroker or 351w based engine.
I bought mine from Coast High Performance in California. As EDXR8 mentioned, it's just a modified carb manifold. I modified the elbow so that the throttle body sits above my distributor, rather than aiming out to the rocker covers. The carb manifolds are single plane, and generally accepted that they are better suited to high revving 302s or stroker / forced induction motors.

q777 isee in your pics you have the msd dissy cap.just the cap or the whole dissy.i bought a msd cap for $40 new when ford(the pricks)wanted $90 for a motorcraft and the coil-well the nice boys at ford wanted $460 for it.msd blaster 3 tfi -new $90.bugger genuine parts.
It's a complete MSD Distributor. I had to chop 7 of the 8 reluctors out of it so the Motec could get a correct cam/sync signal. The MSD Digital 6 seems OK too, but the MSD HVC coil is a piese of junk. Crane version going on soon.
The ute photo is just a computer fake, sorry :)

I've gone through and checked / replaced leads, plugs and checked all wiring, etc. but from the first time the car ever started (on a Superflow 901 engine dyno), it kept blowing out the spark at more than 12lb boost and 6000rpm. The motor makes 705lb/ft torque at 6000, but anything over that and it gets a gow-awful miss that can't be fixed. We didn't have access to another coil at the time, and I've been too lazy to do anything about it since. It just means that I can't use full throttle in top gear, but on the street that's probably not a bad thing anyway !
I'll let you know when the ute has airbags. Probably in the next couple of months. It still won't look as good as the pic though !!!
