Since I have been dealing with Pro-M, we have been trying to determine how to calibrate the MAF's to suit the Australian setup rather than a "close enough" Mustang system. Pro-M actually calibrate their MAF's to suit the airbox of the car they are calibrating them for (or pod if you want to go that way) as well as the injector size and computer type - so I am sending them an EF/EL V8 airbox so they can get the best possible calibration. This will mean we will have MAF's purely for our Australian models - from 65mm right up to 117mm for the stoutest blown stroker. This will mean the existing orders will be 2 weeks behind but when they come in they will be the best that can be acheived.

1. If you are in control - you haven't got enough Horse Power...
2. If you throw it up in the air and it comes down - It's too heavy...

1996 NL V8 Fairlane Ghia, YBESLO White, Grey trim, 16" V5 Simmons, LOW
Squeezed is nice, stroked is good, blown is unbeliveable - but all 3 is heaven
Top stuff!
I will have to get one and retire the vortech.
Now we have cracked the code for the ELGT MAF we can do some good stuff for yours...

Yes, Steve's is most important to me. It has been my nightmare too but know we know what we are dealing with (ELGT MAF) we can get it spot on. If I had have had that part number earlier I could have saved us some hair pulling sessions.

Just an example of what I am bringing into Australia through Pro-M. The First 2 pictures are the Chrome 75mm Bullet series. This one is calibrated for 30lb/hr injectors for the stock ECU and Australian airbox. The second one is a "stock replacement" 70mm - this is basically the AU style alloy mass air flow housing with a little restriction removal, the E series plug and calibration to suit the Australian airbox.

You have a PM Neil - the AU's came standard with a 70mm mass airflow meter.

I'd be realy interested to know about the drama's with B1B and steve'sXR8 and the GT ECU's. The last I knew of they were having trouble getting tem to run and suspected they weren't GT ecu's and were getting their ecu code checked? I never heard any thing else. It will be interesting to see if my sprint ecu will run with the standard electronics. Shane i should have the EB GT maf in hand soon where do I look for the numbers you mentioned?
