simple question...i assume.....how do you remove the rocker covers?

i want to paint them

and i expect ill need new gaskets aswell

it looks like a bit of a job getting everything off on top of them

any help appreciated

You will have to take the upper intake manifold off to get to the drivers side one. Once thats off it is straight forward.

It's not really a big job, you can leave almost everyting on the upper manifold and just undo the 8 bolts holding it down then move it aside. As for gaskets, yeah you should either use a new gasket or I just use some gasket maker like black/blue/copper silicon.

aye, its more annoying than difficult . . . on the EL's at least, the rear couple of intake bolts suck to get at
