guys any help would be much appreciated.my last ride was an xe esp 302 and this is my first efi windsor and i want to know if there is a base timing plug that needs to be shorted before any adjustment can be made.what timing advance will i safely get away with , my donk has gt40p heads,hm headers (which i added) and crow cam 29/77 .505th lift.

Yeah you need to short out some pins on the diagnostic plug which is located under the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. It is a white plug with two rows of pins. You need to short out the far left top and bottom (or the top to earth). Start the engine, it will idle for a sec then rev upto just under 2k where you can set the base timing. Standard base timing is 30 degrees but you can probably advance it 2-4 degrees if you run premium. I use to have the same setup as you and 4 degrees advanced was fine.

thankyou very much. as i said ive had stack of clevo powered xc,d,e and im still getting to know the eec-4.how will it react with larger t,body and maf(im asuming changing the maf is required to keep injection map accurate for increase in air pressure inside plenum.)

actually thinking a little harder the manifold pressure wont increase will it.thats what forced induction does.all it will do is enable my engine to draw more air in provided manifold heads and exhaust can flow.correct?

Correct, larger MAF's are only to reduce air restriction.
